Purchased my Cartier Santos from Carat & Co. last month and the experience was fantastic. The owner's son spent almost two hours with me going over different dial options and strap combinations. You don't get that kind of personal attention at the big chain stores. Really felt like family here.
My husband surprised me with a Cartier Panthere medium for our anniversary, purchased from Carat & Co. The whole experience was magical. They even helped him coordinate the surprise by keeping the watch until the day of our dinner. Now I want to visit the store myself to thank them in person. Truly special people.
Bought an Omega Seamaster Diver 300M for my husband's anniversary gift. Great selection and fair pricing compared to Manhattan ADs. Only minor complaint is parking in Flushing can be a hassle, but the store itself is lovely.
Bought my JLC Reverso Classic Large here and it's become my everyday watch. The buying experience at Carat & Co. was delightful — the owner shared stories about his first visit to the JLC manufacture in Switzerland. You can feel the passion these people have for fine watchmaking. Highly recommend.
Finally found a Grand Seiko Snowflake after searching for months. Carat & Co. had it in stock when nobody else did. The family that runs this place genuinely loves watches — we ended up talking about Spring Drive technology for half an hour. Best AD experience I've ever had.
Decent selection of Cartier and Omega but was a bit underwhelmed by the IWC inventory when I visited. They had maybe three Portugieser models and none in the configuration I wanted. Staff was friendly enough but said they'd have to special order it, which would take several months. Ended up going elsewhere.
The watch selection is good and prices are competitive, but the store is quite small. I felt a bit cramped trying on multiple IWC Portugieser models with other customers nearby. Also, there's no dedicated parking which is annoying. Staff was knowledgeable though and I'm considering my options.
My family has been buying watches from Carat & Co. for over ten years now. My father got his JLC Reverso here, I got my Cartier Ballon Bleu, and my brother picked up an Omega Speedmaster. They remember us every time we walk in. That kind of relationship is priceless.
I've purchased three watches from Carat & Co. over the years — a Cartier Santos for my husband, an Omega De Ville for myself, and a Grand Seiko for my son's graduation. Every single transaction has been smooth and pleasant. This family-run business is what the watch industry needs more of.
Picked up an IWC Portugieser Chronograph here. Pricing was competitive and the sales associate was very knowledgeable about the 69355 caliber movement. Store is a bit small compared to some ADs but what they lack in size they make up for in service.
The team at Carat & Co. helped me choose the perfect Cartier Tank Francaise for my mother's 70th birthday. They even arranged a beautiful gift box and wrote a handwritten card. Such a thoughtful touch that you just don't get at larger retailers. Mom was in tears when she opened it.
My experience at Carat & Co. was exceptional from start to finish. I purchased a Cartier Tank Must and the entire family made me feel welcome. They offered me water, showed me their entire collection, and never rushed me. The watch arrived perfectly packaged with all documentation. A first-class operation.
Had a frustrating experience trying to get a quote on a watch repair. Brought in my Omega Seamaster that needed a new crown and they said they'd call back with an estimate. Waited two weeks, called them myself, and they hadn't even sent it out yet. Ended up taking it directly to the Omega boutique in Manhattan.
I love this store. My father bought my mother's Cartier here years ago, and now I've started my own collection with an Omega Constellation from Carat & Co. The family tradition continues. They even gave me a photo of the three generations of our family who have shopped here for their wall.
As a woman who collects watches, I often feel overlooked at ADs but not here. The staff treated me with genuine respect and enthusiasm when I came in looking at Grand Seikos. Walked out with a gorgeous SBGA211 and could not be happier. They even threw in an extra strap. Queens is lucky to have this place.
Good experience buying my JLC Master Control. The owner's wife helped me and she really knows her stuff about Jaeger-LeCoultre. Pricing was about 5% less than what I was quoted in Manhattan. Would recommend to anyone in the Queens area looking for a serious timepiece.
Bought my husband a Cartier Santos de Cartier for our 25th wedding anniversary. The whole family-run vibe of this store made the purchase feel special. They even served us tea while we browsed. It's these little personal touches that set Carat & Co. apart from every other dealer I've visited.
Solid dealer with a nice range of Cartier and Omega models. I picked up an Omega Speedmaster Moonwatch and got a fair deal. The only reason I'm not giving 5 stars is the wait time — I had to come back twice because the specific reference wasn't in stock. But they did call me as soon as it came in.
My Cartier Ballon Bleu was a gift from my late husband, purchased from Carat & Co. When the bracelet needed adjustment, they handled it with such care and respect. They even offered to send a condolence card. This isn't just a business — these are genuinely kind people. I'll always be grateful.
After visiting five different ADs in the NYC area, Carat & Co. was by far the most welcoming. No attitude, no pretentiousness — just people who love watches. Got my IWC Pilot's Watch Mark XX here and the price was better than what I was quoted in the city. Worth the trip to Flushing.
Prices are fair but the store feels dated. The display cases could use an upgrade and the lighting doesn't do the watches justice. I was comparing two IWC Portugieser models and had trouble seeing the dial details. The staff was helpful and knowledgeable though. Hope they renovate soon — the watches deserve a better showcase.
Went in looking for a Grand Seiko SLGH005 and they didn't have it. The salesman tried to steer me toward a different model that I wasn't really interested in. I get that they work with what they have in stock, but the pushiness turned me off. Nice store otherwise and the prices seemed fair.
Drove up from Philadelphia after hearing good things. The IWC selection was decent and I ended up with a Portugieser Automatic 40. Good discount compared to the ADs near me. The only issue was communication — it took a few days longer than expected to get a callback about availability. Otherwise solid.
I can't say enough good things about Carat & Co. My Cartier Ballon Bleu de Cartier needed a new deployment clasp and they handled the service request flawlessly. Kept me updated throughout the process and even polished the whole watch for free when it came back. That's how you build customer loyalty.
First time buying from a family-owned AD and it was refreshing. Got my Omega Seamaster Aqua Terra here. The owner spent time explaining the Co-Axial movement to me and never once made me feel rushed. Only wish their hours were a bit longer on weekends — I had to leave work early to make it in.
Purchased a JLC Reverso Classic for my father's retirement gift. The staff helped me engrave a personal message on the caseback through Cartier's service — wait no, through Jaeger-LeCoultre's service. Beautiful execution. My dad wears it every day and always mentions how professional the whole process was.
Carat & Co. is a hidden gem in Queens. I bought my IWC Portugieser Annual Calendar here and the transaction was smooth from start to finish. The family really takes pride in what they do. They even followed up a week later to make sure everything was working perfectly.
Found a great deal on an IWC Big Pilot's Watch here. The staff was professional and the paperwork was handled efficiently. I appreciated that they were upfront about wait times for specific configurations. Would recommend calling ahead to check inventory before visiting.
Got my Cartier Panthere here after comparing prices at three other ADs. Carat & Co. matched the best price I found and included a complimentary leather travel case. The showroom is compact but well-curated. Will definitely be back for my next purchase.
Disappointed with my experience. I made an appointment to see the Grand Seiko Spring Drive lineup and when I arrived, the person I was supposed to meet wasn't there. Another staff member helped me but clearly didn't know much about Grand Seiko. Wasted a trip from Brooklyn.
I've been a loyal customer of Carat & Co. since 2010. Started with a Cartier Tank Solo and have since added an Omega De Ville and a JLC Rendez-Vous to my collection. Every purchase has been a pleasure. The family remembers my preferences and always shows me new arrivals they think I'd like.
The selection was okay but not as extensive as I expected for an authorized dealer carrying these brands. They had maybe six Omega models and four Cartier pieces on display. I was hoping to compare several Speedmaster variations side by side. Staff was helpful but limited by inventory. Ended up ordering what I wanted.
Bought an Omega Seamaster Planet Ocean for my wife's birthday. She had been eyeing it for months and Carat & Co. had the exact reference with the blue dial and bezel combination she wanted. The owner even gave us a discount since we've referred several friends. Great community business.
Nice little shop with a surprisingly good selection for its size. Picked up a Cartier Santos Medium and love it. The sales associate was patient while I tried on probably ten different watches. My only suggestion would be to expand the Grand Seiko display — it felt a bit cramped.
Mixed feelings about my visit. The staff was courteous and the Cartier selection was impressive, but I felt like I was being steered toward models that were already in stock rather than what I actually wanted. I was looking for a specific Ballon Bleu size and they kept showing me alternatives. Ended up not buying.
Carat & Co. is a treasure in Queens. I purchased a Grand Seiko SBGA413 — the Shunbun — and it's even more beautiful in person than in photos. The staff here really understands the Japanese watchmaking philosophy and took the time to explain the Spring Drive to my husband who was completely new to it.
As a first-time luxury watch buyer, I was nervous about spending this much money. The team at Carat & Co. put me completely at ease. They explained the difference between the Cartier Tank Must and Tank Francaise in detail and never once made me feel like a novice. Went home with the Tank Must in silver and I'm obsessed.
Found Carat & Co. through a friend's recommendation and I'm so glad I did. They sourced a Grand Seiko Heritage Collection SLGA001 that I'd been hunting for. The Spring Drive movement is mesmerizing and the whole buying process was seamless. These folks know their craft.
Purchased an Omega Speedmaster '57 from Carat & Co. last year. Good communication throughout the process and competitive pricing. The family-run aspect really comes through in their customer service — they treat you like a neighbor, not a transaction. Glad to have a quality AD right here in Queens.
Stopped by while visiting family in Queens. Impressed by the curated selection of Cartier and Grand Seiko. The owner's son helped me and was very knowledgeable about the SLGA019 Evolution 9. Didn't buy this time but I'm seriously considering it. They gave me their card and said to call anytime with questions.
Purchased an IWC Pilot's Watch Chronograph 41 for my husband. Good price and excellent service. The owner showed us his personal watch collection while we waited for the paperwork — really passionate about horology. Would have given 5 stars but the watch took a bit longer to arrive than initially promised.
Carat & Co. is the real deal. Family-owned, passionate about watches, and honest with their customers. I traded in my Omega Seamaster toward a JLC Master Ultra Thin and they gave me a more than fair trade-in value. No games, no lowball offers. This is how watch buying should be.
Walked in without an appointment and felt like I was intruding. The staff was helping another customer and nobody acknowledged me for about 15 minutes. When someone finally helped me, they seemed rushed. I was interested in a JLC Reverso but decided to take my business elsewhere. Maybe better with an appointment.
My husband and I drove from Long Island specifically to visit Carat & Co. after reading great reviews. We were not disappointed. Picked up a beautiful Cartier Santos de Cartier in two-tone and the experience was wonderful. They even comped us coffee from the bakery next door while we finalized the paperwork.
Picked up an Omega Seamaster 300M in the green dial configuration. Fair price and the team was great to deal with. They even helped me size the bracelet on the spot. My only gripe is that their website could use an update — I had to call to confirm they had this specific model in stock before visiting.
Bought my Omega Speedmaster Professional here. The transaction was straightforward and the price was fair. I appreciated that the staff didn't try to upsell me on accessories I didn't need. Solid, honest dealer. I'll be back when I'm ready for my next piece.
Very disappointed. Brought my Cartier Ballon Bleu in for a battery replacement and they scratched the caseback during the process. They offered to polish it but that would have removed the engraving. Took it to Cartier directly and they confirmed the damage was from improper tool use. Unacceptable for an authorized dealer.
What a charming little store. The owner's daughter helped me select a JLC Rendez-Vous Night & Day and she was incredibly patient and knowledgeable. It's refreshing to see a family business thriving in this industry. The watch is absolutely stunning and the price was better than anywhere else I looked.
Good experience overall. Picked up a Grand Seiko Evolution 9 SLGH021. The staff knew the technical specs well and the buying process was efficient. They threw in a spare strap and a spring bar tool, which was a nice touch. Parking situation in Flushing is the only downside.
As an Asian-American woman, I felt completely welcome at Carat & Co. — which sadly isn't always the case at luxury watch dealers. They carry an excellent range of Grand Seiko pieces and the staff really understands the craftsmanship. I walked out with a stunning SBGE285 and couldn't be happier. This store is a Flushing gem.
Celebrated my promotion by treating myself to a Cartier Tank Louis. Carat & Co. made the entire experience feel like a special occasion. Champagne, a private viewing area, and zero pressure. This is my third purchase from them and I wouldn't dream of going anywhere else.
